Biography

I have been a barrister in active private practice since 2007, specialising in all aspects of commercial and chancery work, both contentious and non-contentious.

In these areas of law, the commercial needs of the parties often play a greater role than the legal issues in reaching a satisfactory outcome to disputes. My skills in understanding a client’s concerns, identifying legal issues, assessing the strengths and weaknesses of a legal case, identifying the parties’ needs and interests, and creatively seeking to find a solution to a case, all contribute towards helping the parties to a mediation to reach an agreed outcome to their dispute.

My skills are transferable across different types of dispute and I accept instructions to mediate for all civil, commercial, debt and employment work.
