Biography

I have extensive practical experience in negotiation of civil and contractual disputes at all court levels; whilst negotiating on behalf of a client is different from mediating between 2 or more parties, nonetheless I have little doubt that an ability to reach a satisfactory compromise is an essential characteristic of a successful Mediator. In addition I have been involved in many employment contractual cases over the years and have a good working knowledge of the employer/employee dynamic. Having been retained in thousands of civil, contractual and employment cases over the years I bring almost 40 years of coal face experience to the Mediation table. I am a good listener, pick up a point quickly and am able to relate well to both professional and lay clients whether the dispute is one of contract or employment. In relation to professional negligence disputes, I have been involved in many. In addition I have spent a professional lifetime dealing with personal injury cases both on behalf of the plaintiff and the representing Defence.
