Biography

Tim was called to the Bar in 2012, having previously worked as a solicitor at a leading criminal defence firm in the jurisdiction. Since then, Tim has developed a practice that includes judicial review, immigration, employment and personal injury. He has also been appointed to the Coroners Panel of Counsel (B panel).

Tim acts on behalf of applicants in a wide range of issues, including:

Immigration

Tim acts for appellants at the First and Upper Tier (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) in cases concerning:

• Asylum and Humanitarian Protection Appeals
• Articles 2,3 and 8 ECHR Appeals
• EEA Appeals
• Removal and Deportation Appeals
• Immigration Bail Applications

Personal Injury

Tim appears before both the High Court and the County Court in cases arising from:

• Accidents at work
• Road traffic accidents
• Clinical negligence

Employment

Tim acts for both Claimants and Respondents at the Industrial Tribunal in cases concerning:

• Unfair dismissal
• Discrimination
• Unlawful deduction of wages

Other

Tim continues to appear in criminal matters before both the Crown and Magistrates’ court dealing with alleged offences ranging from shoplifting to murder.

He is also developing a sports law practice and has acted for players who have been injured on the field of play, as well as acting for individuals with disputes against sporting governing bodies.
