Stewart is a Queen’s Counsel specialising in a wide range of commercially focused disciplines. He represents public companies (Plc), private businesses and charitable institutions. His work involves strategic advice, litigation, judicial reviews, public inquiries, planning appeals, arbitration, chancery and contract disputes, Lands Tribunal (rates, valuation and rents cases), liquor licensing, betting and gaming and pharmacies.
Work includes electricity/renewables, incinerators, energy from waste, retail, commercial, aviation, harbours, house builders, environmental (Habitats and Environmental Impact Assessment), waste operations and licensing and criminal law relating to these areas of specialism including proceeds of crime.
