Criminal Law
Having been called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2006, I have continuously practised in the field of criminal law since this date. From 2006 until 2012, I practised in the south west of England and in south Wales and commenced practice in Northern Ireland in 2012.
I have considerable experience both prosecuting and defending and undertake instructions in all areas of criminal law, notably violent and sexual offences, fraud and dishonesty offences, public order offences, drugs offences and regulatory matters. I am regularly instructed in cases involving vulnerable witnesses or defendants and have experience dealing with expert witnesses in a variety of different disciplines.
Having been instructed in a number of confiscation matters, including at the Court of Appeal of England and Wales, I am fully acquainted with the proceeds of crime regime.
