Biography

Rioghnach was called to the Bar of Northern Ireland in 2018. Her practice is predominantly Family Law, Criminal Law and Immigration.

Rioghnach has appeared in all Court Tiers from Family/Domestic Proceedings Court to High Court for Family Law matters. She has been instructed in a number of Care Order proceedings alongside Private Law matters, and regularly appears in the Family Care Centre. She also appears in Magistrates Court, County and Crown Court for criminal matters.

She has also been instructed to appear at First-Tier Tribunal for Immigration appeals, including Asylum cases and Revocation of Deportation Orders.

Rioghnach was recently invited to attend Tedx Derry~Londonderry to provide a talk on Access to Justice as a member of the Young Bar, working alongside the Bar Council. This talk is available on the here.
