Biography

Luke is regularly instructed in High Court and County Court matters practising in a wide variety of Personal Injury, Breach of Contract, Credit Hire and Defamation cases on behalf of both Plaintiff and Defence.

Luke appears frequently in Commercial and Chancery matters with an interest in Insolvency, Probate, Land disputes, and Tax cases specifically involving the issue of Excise Duty.

Luke additionally has experience of appearing in Coroner’s Inquests, representing bereaved families in their search for justice.

Luke also has experience in Criminal matters before the Magistrate’s Court, County Court (Appeals), Crown Court and in High Court bail applications, as well as appearing before Mental Health Review Tribunals.

Luke appears in a wide range of Employment Tribunal matters, predominantly involving Discrimination and Unfair Dismissal, appearing before the Tribunal for both Claimant and Defendant.

Experience

Prior to his call to the Bar, Luke gained experience working in a busy city centre law firm, working predominantly within the areas of Civil Litigation and Criminal Defence.
