Luke is regularly instructed in High Court and County Court matters practicing in a wide variety of areas, demonstrating specific expertise in Personal Injury, Breach of Contract, Credit Hire and Defamation cases.
Luke appears frequently in Commercial and Chancery matters with an interest in Intellectual Property, Insolvency, Probate, Land disputes, and Tax cases specifically involving the issue of Excise Duty.
Luke is a member of the Government Legal Services for Northern Ireland and the General Counsel’s Directorate for Northern Ireland representing government bodies such as, HMRC, ICRIR, DFI, LPS & DVA across a wide range of practice areas.
Luke acts and advises in Licensing applications and has been involved in many liquor and registration of clubs matters in the County Court.
Luke appears in a wide range of Employment Tribunal matters, predominantly involving Discrimination and Unfair Dismissal, appearing before the Tribunal for both Claimant and Defendant.

Prior to his call to the Bar, Luke gained experience working in a busy city centre law firm, working predominantly within the area of personal injury.
Luke has also taught at Queen’s University of Belfast across a number of core subject areas at undergraduate LL.B.
