I have a varied practice with a particular focus on civil law. I have expertise in the following areas: contract disputes, adverse possession and land law generally, repossession, insolvency, employment law, lands tribunal cases including the law on business tenancies, planning law, probate, charity law, and privacy and media law (including the law relating to injunctions) and wish to develop these areas of my practice. I also have experience in family and domestic law at magistrates’ court level and criminal law. I was a pharmacist in my former career and am keen to develop my practice to use my knowledge and skills in this area.

I acted as Junior Counsel with the Attorney General in a test case concerning the application of Article 1 of the First Protocol ECHR where property in negative equity was subject to a vesting order:

I was also instructed by the Attorney General in a case involving the appointment of a liquidator for an insolvent charity:
