Biography

My main interest is Children’s Law, both private and public law proceedings. I represent private individuals, Guardians ad Litem and Health and Social Services Trusts in numerous applications under the Children Order. I practise in the Family Proceedings Courts, Care Centres and the High Court. I am an experienced legal professional. I have experience in private law applications including applications for residence orders, contact orders, specific issue orders and prohibited steps orders. My specialised knowledge is that of public law both under the Children Order and the Adoption Order. I have been instructed in applications for Care Orders, Supervision orders, Recovery Orders, Secure Accommodation Orders, Emergency Protection Orders, Article 53 Contact Order Applications, Article 56 Investigations, Applications for Child Assessment Orders and in applications to discharge Care Orders as well as in adoption proceedings.
