Biography

Amy was called to the Bar of Northern Ireland in 2020 and completed her pupillage with a criminal defence practitioner. She gained invaluable experience in dealing with a wide range of criminal matters, ranging from those of a lower level to more complex matters.

Amy expresses an interest in a number of areas of practice; Criminal, Civil, Commercial, Family, Judicial Review, Employment and Insolvency.

Amy is available for instruction in all areas of law.

Experience

Amy is fluent in Spanish and speaks French proficiently.

Prior to being called to the Bar, Amy worked for a corporate law firm for a number of years. She gained invaluable experience in a number of large-scale litigation matters in both the English and Spanish language, in drafting confidentiality agreements and on a managerial level in the transactional field. Most notably, Amy completed a three month secondment to the firm’s Dubai office where she worked closely with the arbitration team on a number of disputes in the UAE.
