Biography

Alenka was called to the Bar of Northern Ireland in 2021 with an interest in family and criminal law.

Alenka completed pupillage with an experienced family law practitioner. During pupillage she obtained invaluable experience in family law which included: Children’s law (Wardship and Adoption) as well as Matrimonial Disputes and Matrimonial Finance.

Alenka also obtained pupillage experience in Criminal, Commercial, Civil, Employment, Land, Personal Injury, and Judicial Review cases.

Alenka is available and currently accepting instructions in all areas of law

Experience

2021; Tutor at Queens University Belfast in Torts Law

2021; Alenka represented the Institute of Professional Legal Studies at the University of Georgia in the International INADR mediation competition

Prior to being called to the Bar, Alenka worked for a Corporate Law firm for a number of years, where she gained invaluable experience in legal research, litigation and drafting. Alenka is also an experienced ISDA Negotiator.
