Alana enjoys a varied practice, with a focus on civil and commercial litigation. She regularly appears in the County Court and the High Court
instructed on behalf of both Plaintiffs and Defendants.
In particular, Alana has gained experience in personal injury litigation dealing extensively with road traffic accidents, household insurance claims and occupiers,’ employers’ and public liability claims.
Alana also has an interest in all areas of public law challenge. She has been instructed in several public inquiries, judicial review challenges and inquests acting for both private and public sector clients. She has been appointed as Junior Counsel to the Government Legal Service Northern Ireland Civil Panel since 2019.
