Biography

Specialist areas of mediation include civil and commercial mediation, as well as workplace and employment matters.

I was called to the Bar in 1993 and have a broad and varied practice in both civil and criminal law. My civil practice ranges from general commercial law, contract and chancery matters to judicial reviews and planning cases. I have appeared in various planning inquiries for the Department of the environment and on other occasions on behalf of private parties. From 2008 to 2012 I was junior counsel for the Department of Health Inquiry into Hyponatraemia Related Deaths. I have been selected as Junior Counsel on the Crown civil Panel since its inception in2004. I prosecuted for approximately 10 years and have also undertaken criminal defence work.

MEDIATION: trained in mediation, negotiation and Mediation Advocacy. Assessed and certified as competent in Mediation Skills by Core Solutions Group Limited.
