Biography

I am a specialist family lawyer, with a particular interest and expertise in public law care and freeing for adoption proceedings. I also have significant experience in dealing with private law residence and contact proceedings, international relocation and child abduction cases, and matrimonial proceedings, to include divorce and ancillary relief.

I also have a busy Judicial Review practice, with particular emphasis on education and educational provision, and I have a special interest in special educational needs. I also appear regularly before the Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal.

I am a member of the Directorate of Legal Services Junior Counsel Family Panel and of the Government Legal Services Junior Counsel A Panel.

I also sit part-time as a Legally Qualified Chairperson of the Social Security Appeals Tribunals.

Certificate in Professional Legal Studies (IPLS) - Distinction
