Following my completion of the Bar Vocational Course at Northumbria University in 2008 I participated in a number of Mini-Pupillages, including one which saw my involvement in the case of R v Abdelgadir C & Others (2008); a case dealing with the 2005 Terrorist bombings in London. I then returned to Northern Ireland where, after undertaking the Bar Course at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies in Belfast, I completed Pupillage under a Civil Law Practitioner. During this time I witnessed and was involved in a number of High Court cases in the Chancery, Commercial and Queen’s Bench Divisions. Following my completion of Pupillage in 2011, I have been working in a mixed practice involving work from the Criminal, Commercial, Employment, Insolvency, Land, Medical Negligence and Personal Injury areas of law.
